Agra : A journalist working for an eveninger here was Thursday stabbed to death near the busy Sanjay Place commercial complex.
Two journalists, Mahesh Sharma and Mohan Sharma, were going on a scooter when a group of armed assailants stopped them. Mahesh Sharma was targeted and stabbed brutally in the abdomen. He was taken to the GG Nursing Home where he was declared brought dead.
The police officials of Chatta and Hari Parbat police stations were
suspended after local journalists held a sit in demanding action to nab the culprits.
Police sources said the deceased had been having trouble and differences with some people in his locality. He had told the police that there was threat to his life but the police did not take it seriously.
