Abu Dhabi : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) capital will host the region’s first conference on missile and air defence next week, WAM reported Thursday.
The two-day conference, to open Dec 14, will be organised by the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA) under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The symposium entitled the Middle East Missile and Air Defence Symposium (MEMAD) will feature high-ranking military officials and top defence industry executives and experts who will discuss the latest strategies, technologies, methodologies and tactics related to modern defence against ballistic missiles and airborne threats.
