Beijing, Dec 10, IRNA, The book titled ‘Towards Republic’ compiled by Wu Cheng, a Chinese Iranologist, featuring the first ten years of the Islamic Revolution 1979 was published in China.
Iran’s Cultural Office in Beijing said that the book contains ten hapters. First chapter deals with people’s struggles against the Iranian former Pahlavi regime.
in the final sections, the Chinese writer, focuses on
counter-revolutionary plots abroad and deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam’s invasion on the country.
Ideas of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, have also been discussed in the book.
The 322-page book was published in 1,000 copies.
