Berlin : At least 25 people were arrested Wednesday evening in Danish protests against the recent tragic killing of a Greek teenager in the Athens, according to news reports.
Around 200 demonstrators gathered illegally in the Danish capital Copenhagen to voice solidarity with juvenile Greek protesters.
Several European countries, including Germany, Italy and Spain, have been the scene of demonstrations in recent days in support of the Greek protests.
Meanwhile, baton-wielding riot police led fierce street clashes with demonstrators for a fifth consecutive day Wednesday throughout Greece in the worst violence the country has witnessed in decades, as the protests threatened to overthrow the government of Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis.
