Poonch : Pritam Spiritual Trust organized an artificial limb camp wherein 150 handicapped people from 20 villages of Poonch district affected by the violence related incidents were benefited by providing artificial limbs and other aid material.
As per release, in this camp among 150 beneficiaries 110 got artificial limbs, 17 clipers,6 try cycle wheel chairs etc. besides this the trust also provided scholar ship amounting to Rs 29000/- among 20 economical backward students. A blanket was also given to each of the handicap visitor.
This was the first artificial limbs distribution camp in the district, previously the trust had organized these types of camps in Delhi, Jaipur etc. and the handicapped persons of district had visited these camps.
The camp was inaugurated by Mohd Afzal Bhat, Deputy Commissioner who speaking on the occasion appreciated the work of the trust in the area.
On the conclusion function (President of Pritam Spiritual Trust) Prof Jagbir Singh expressed his gratitude to the district Administration for providing all sorts of help for making the noble cause a success.
Those who rendered their services in the camp included Anubhav Misri, Akhlesh Sangeet, Munesh Sharma, Sudesh Gupta, Ravi Kant Sumbria.
