Madinah : A total of 173,027 pilgrims arrived in Madinah until Tuesday from Makkah, while the number of pilgrims left the city accounts for 36559, according to a report released by the Haj Committee Secretariat. The pilgrims included 20984 Iranians, 13726 Egyptians, and 12588 Syrians.
The report noted that 45 flights were operated from Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz International Airport on Tuesday carrying 9591 pilgrims, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
