Delhi-based engineer found dead in car

New Delhi : A 26-year-old engineer was found dead in his car near the Akshardham temple in east Delhi Sunday morning, the police said.

The body of Akash Saxena, 26, was found around 10 a.m. in Mandawali area.

“Saxena was slightly bleeding from his mouth, but his two mobile phones, a gold chain and money were intact. We have ruled out robbery as motive as the body bore no injury marks,” a police official said.

“We have registered a case of murder, but it could also be a case of suicide. His body has been sent for a post-mortem examination and the matter is being probed from all angles,” the official added.

Saxena was to get married next week. He was a resident of Gole Market and was working as an assistant manager with a firm in Patparganj in east Delhi.
