Gaza : Israel fired two surface-to-surface missiles at dawn and early morning Sunday targeting two different locations in Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian security sources.
The sources said a missile was fired on a group of civilians walking to the east of Al-Buraij Camp, central Gaza Strip. The missile exploded near them but it was a close call without injuries, the sources added.
The missile seems to have been fired from an Israeli Army location near the Gaza-Israel border, they added.
The Israelis had prior to this fired another missile of the same type on Deir Al-Balah coast. The security sources said this earlier missile hit near fishermen who were walking on the beach but none of them were injured.
Israeli war boats, usually stationed across from Gaza cities had fired machineguns this morning on Palestinian fishing boats that were sailing near Beit Lahya, North Gaza.
This shooting damaged many of the boats but no injuries were reported, though the fishermen had to flee from the water in fear for their lives.
