Bhopal: A high level committee from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL), Headquarters New Delhi CS Verma, Director (Finance), CP Singh, Director (E&RD), BP Rao, Director (IS & P) and SN Daga, Executive Director (CMTD/ Monitoring) visited New CNC Block, New Transformer Block and other manufacturing blocks of the factory in BHEL, Bhopal unit.
The high level committee reviewed the progress of equipment supply to various power projects and capacity augmentation of the Unit. R. K. Singh, Executive Director and General Managers of BHEL Bhopal unit accompanied them.
R. K. Singh appraised the members of the high level committee about the modernisation and expansion programmes, new imported CNC Machines and critical jobs. He said that BHEL employees are committed to achieve the production turnover and Bhopal Unit with state of the art machines, latest technology and skilled manpower is at par with any of the best companies in the world. He also shared different initiatives taken by the unit to reduce costs; i.e. development of new designs, effective inventory and commitment towards Total Quality Management.
The visiting team members appreciated work culture of the unit and said that with such excellent manpower the unit can rise to any height. ([email protected])
