Srinagar : Six people, including a paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) trooper, were wounded when militants lobbed a grenade at a BSF vehicle near the Jammu and Kashmir capital Friday afternoon.
According to the police, the militants tossed a grenade at the BSF vehicle in Bandipore, 55 km from here. Six people – a trooper and five civilians – were injured in the blast, the official said.
“The injured have been hospitalised. The condition of one civilian is serious,” a police official said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
