Gaza : Israeli warplanes killed an Izzideen Al-Qassam Brigades field commander in southern Gaza Strip in an air raid on Rafah which also injured another activist.
A statement by the Palestinian group said the field commander was Mohammad Mutair, and said the planes fired one missile at least in the attack.
Israeli F16s went on a second raid on Al-Buraim post of the brigades, used as a workshop, in the eastern region of Khan Younes, and a major part of the location was destroyed.
Palestinian security sources said the warplanes fired at least a missile on the location, which was clear of all operatives, hence, no injuries were reported among group militants.
Meanwhile, medical sources indicated ten civilians were injured in the air raid early morning, who inhabited nearby and adjacent homes affected by the raid.
