Delhi freezes again, officials say chill to continue

New Delhi, Feb 11 (IANS) Residents of Delhi, bracing icy cold winds for most of the last week, started the week on a cold note with the mercury dipping to nearly three degrees Celsius Monday. Met officials say the cold wave will continue for next couple of days.

The minimum temperature in the national capital plunged to 3.4 degrees Celsius, lowest for the month of February in nearly a decade. But a clear sky and sunny day, pushing the day temperature up, gave some respite to the residents, particularly the elderly.
