Tanla to launch mobile advertising, marketing guide

Mumbai : Tanla Mobile Ltd, a subsidiary of Tanla Solutions, is launching a mobile marketing and advertising guide for Britain, offering guidance to agencies and brands on how to design, launch and manage mobile marketing campaigns.

According to a statement issued by Tanla Solutions to the Bombay Stock Exchange Monday, the guide, being launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the same day, is edited by mobile marketing expert Helen Keegan with assistance from Britain-based 02, Vodafone, Admob and Emerging Media Platforms.

Tanla Mobile director Gautam Sabharwal said: “We in the field have come to know that companies do not yet know how to make the most our of mobile marketing possibilities. That’s why we have spent the past eight months developing this guide to provide the mobile industry with answers to such questions.”

The guide covers every aspect of the mobile’s place in the marketing mix. From campaign mechanisms to common challenges, from leveraging user-generated content to exploiting mobile TV, it claims to contain everything mobile executives need to know about this rapidly evolving market.
