Islamabad : Yemen has shown interest in importing skilled and unskilled manpower from Pakistan, Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Nisar Ahmad Ghuman said.
Yemen wants to import workforce from Pakistan in different fields including information technology, chemical engineering, oil and gas exploration, infrastructure development, he told the reporters.
Ghuman said Yemen s Minister for Labour and Social Affairs of Yemen Dr Amna Razzaq Ali would soon visit Pakistan to finalise modalities in this regard.
We have offered maximum trained workforce in various fields to Yemen, he added.
The minister said he had accompanied the Caretaker Prime Minister Muhammadmian Soomro in his visit to Yemen in the first week of February and held meetings with the Prime Minister of Yemen and others high officials.
