Kabul : Seven people, including three Afghan policemen and four Afghan guards working with US military, were killed in roadside bomb blasts in Helmand and Khost provinces of Afghanistan. The first blast, that killed three police and injured four others, took place in Musa Qala district of Helmand province on Wednesday, the Defence Ministry said here. The district was recaptured by the Afghan and British troops from Taliban after nearly 10 months. In February 2007, it was captured by Taliban from Afghan police. The second blast took place in Khost province, police said. Wazir Badshah, Khost police spokesman said the bomb was planted by militants. He said it went off as the police vehicle stepped on it killing four guards and injuring one.
