202 Maktabs established under auspices of Rahmani Foundation

District Collector disbursed Rs. 10 lakhs to teachers

Monger: Monger’s Rahmani Foundation has wrought an example of multifarious social service, especially in the field of education by establishing more than two hundred Maktabs for educating boy and girl students from the downtrodden sections of the society besides promoting computer education. “Rahmani Foundation is doing job full of good rewards and my cooperation will always be available to it”, said Monger district collector in his address to male and female teachers working in 202 Maktabs under ‘Education for All’ campaign that were gathered here in a session organized by the Foundation. He said it is the duty of every male and female teacher to discharge his or her responsibilities with complete honesty, since they are building a society and a country.

Monger collector said Rahmani Foundation has brought thousand of boys and girls, belonging to weaker sections of the society, to schools under ‘Education for All’ campaign. It should extend its sphere of activities and accept responsibilities for entire Monger district for carrying the light of knowledge door to door. Addressing to male and female teachers, chairman of the Foundation Maulana Wali Rahmani said you should offer educational services, considering it an act of worship. He advised the teachers to increase their knowledge, assuring that they will soon be given such notes that will add to their knowledge and help in teaching in a better way. Prof. Prabhat Kumar, S. M. Zaheer Ali, Master Abu Mohammad, Waseemuddin, coordinator of Bihar Shiksha Prayojna Dharminder, Al-Hajj Maulana Mohammad Arif Rahmani and Maulana Zafar Abdur Rauf Rahmani also addressed the session. On this occasion, the district collector provided rupees ten lac for paying salaries of teachers.
