Srinagar : Security forces and army today claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Handwara area of Kashmir and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition.
Official sources said that based on specific Information an operation was launched in the General Forest area of Mawer Handwara by 8th Bn. Rajpot Rifles of army and police.
During search operation troops busted a militant hideout and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition including one Pika Machine Gun, 64 rounds of Pika Ammunition, five pistol rounds, six Pistol Magazines, 13 UBGL grenades, three AK 47, nine AK Magazines, two S.H Radio Set, 273 rounds of AK 47, ten Grenades, 20 Detonator, two Kgs of Explosive, one Antenna, one Pouch, two packets of Cigarette, one Packet of Biscuits and one Polythene.
