Gaza : Two Islamic Jihad (Holy War) militants were killed early on Friday in an Israeli air strike on a group of militants in central Gaza Strip, medics and witnesses said.
Palestinian security sources said that several Israeli army tanks stormed the eastern area of al-Mughazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip, adding dozens of militants confronted the invading Israeli army forces.
The sources and the witnesses said an Israeli aircraft fired a rocket at a group of militants, killing two Islamic Jihad militants and seriously wounding a third one.
The Islamic Jihad said in a leaflet sent to reporters that Ayman Sa’eed and Bassam al-Hazeen, two members of the group’s armed wing, were killed as they were confronting the Israeli army forces in central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, naval Israeli gunship fired on Friday at least 15 missiles at opened areas in northern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported.
