Bhubaneswar : At least seven workers Wednesday received burn injuries, four of them critically, after fire dusts from a kiln fell accidentally on them in a power generation plant in Orissa, police said.
The mishap occurred when the workers were cleaning the kiln in the plant of SMC Power Generation Corporation at Hirma, Jharsuguda, some 300 km from here, sub-divisional police officer R.K. Dash told IANS.
Two of the injured had sustained more than 90 percent of burn injuries. All workers were undergoing treatment at the Ispat general hospital at the steel city of Rourkela, he said.
