Patna : A case of kidnapping has been lodged against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Sitaram Yadav, his son and bodyguards in Bihar, police sources said Thursday.
Ram Pramod Sahni, a resident of Bagarvan village, Wednesday complained to the police against Sitaram Yadav, who represents the Sitamarhi Lok Sabha seat, his son Krishna Kumar and six security guards in connection with the kidnapping of a man called Fakir Ram.
Fakir Ram, a witness in a case against Sitaram Yadav, was allegedly abducted when he was on the way to the residence of the additional public prosecutor Wednesday.
Dozens of politicians in Bihar are facing serious criminal charges, including murder, kidnapping and extortion.
