Kannur (Kerala) : Four people including two children were Thursday killed in two separate road accidents in Kannur district of Kerala.
A truck ran over two primary schoolchildren while they were crossing a road in Mattanur, about 40 km from here.
The children were identified as Farsana and her brother Muhammed Shanid. They were returning home after attending classes at a madrassa nearby. Two other children were injured in the incident.
In another incident, two youths were killed at Managad when their bike collided with a truck.
“The youths have been identified as Irshad and Khaleel,” said a police official.
