Islamabad : At least three policemen were killed in a bomb attack in Pakistan’s North West Frontier Province (NWFP) Friday, the police said.
The three policemen, including a senior officer, were killed when their mobile van came under attack in Lakky Marwat town, some 240 km from the NWFP capital Peshawar, an official said.
However, TV channels reported five policemen, including deputy superintendent Javed Iqbal Mastikhel, were killed in the explosion activated by a remote control device.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
