ISLAMABAD, JAN 1, SPA — The Tripartite Commission, comprising senior military representatives from Pakistan, Afghanistan and NATO s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan have met in Islamabad and discussed security situation on Pak-Afghan border, according to an official statement.
The delegates were led by General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff, Pakistan Army, General Bismullah Khan, Chief of General Staff, Afghan National Army, and General Dan McNeill, Commander ISAF.
They also discussed matters of professional interest. They reviewed progress made by Border Security Sub Committee and military intelligence and expressed satisfaction on the progress made so far.
