Firozabad : A branch of the Bank of Baroda in this district town of Uttar Pradesh was completely gutted Wednesday, reducing to ashes records of over 5,000 customers.
According to bank’s manager, records, furniture and computers were destroyed in the fire.
However, lockers and cash room were safe, said the manager.
Important records of more than 5,000 customers, 40 odd computers and property worth millions of rupees were destroyed in the fire.
