Islamabad : Pakistani security forces have killed at least 25 militants believed to be linked with the Al Qaeda terror network near the Afghan border, the military said Wednesday.
The fighting took place late Tuesday in South Waziristan where Taliban and Al Qaeda-linked militants have been operating, said army spokesman Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad.
He said security forces did not suffer any casualties.
