Gandhinagar : Eighteen new Gujarat ministers, including two women, took their oath here Friday.
The hour-long ceremony began at 9.35 a.m. at the lawns behind the Gujarat Vidhan Sabha in Gandhinagar, about 25 km from Ahmedadabd.
Nine cabinet ministers and nine ministers of state took their oaths of office and secrecy.
Seven members of the outgoing Modi ministry have been dropped while nine fresh faces have been inducted.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who led the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to a third consecutive victory in the state, was sworn in earlier on Dec 25.
