Ulan Bator : Mongolia has decided to send its ninth contingent of soldiers to Iraq, the country’s Prime Minister Sanj Bayar said Friday while meeting with the U.S. ambassador.
Mongolia sent its first group of 173 soldiers to Iraq for post-war reconstruction and peacekeeping in 2003. Since then eight groups of Mongolian soldiers have been sent to the war-torn nation.
