Hyderabad, Jan 5 (IANS) The 21st International Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) conference and the 7th international embedded systems conference began here Saturday with researchers and scientists debating ‘Challenges in the New Nano Technology Era’.
More than 1,000 VLSI and embedded systems experts, academicians and 2,000 student delegates are participating in the conference.
Leading manufacturers in the field are displaying their products during the conference, which will continue till Jan 8.

Sponsored by the VLSI Society of India and IEEE among others, the joint conference is a forum for researchers and designers to present and discuss various aspects of VLSI design, electronic design automation (EDA), enabling technologies and embedded systems.
It covers the entire gamut of activities under the two arms of the semiconductor industry – VLSI and embedded systems.
