India lose Sydney Test by 122 runs

Sydney : India failed to stop the Australian juggernaut and lost the second Test by 122 runs on the final day at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) here Sunday.

Chasing a target of 333, India were bowled out for 210 runs in the second innings and helped the Australians equal their world record of 16 consecutive Test wins, set under Steve Waugh’s captaincy. Australia have now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four match series and retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
