Gaza City, Gaza Strip : An Israeli air strike in the northern Gaza Strip early Sunday killed a member of the Popular Resistance Committees, a group allied with Hamas, Palestinian officials said.
The strike came hours after the group said it fired a barrage of rockets into Israel.
The Israeli military said the aircraft fired at two armed men seen in the area from which rockets had been fired earlier and one of the men was seen to be hit, according to a report of the Associated Press.
