Bilawal for peace with India

London : Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, son of slain Pakistani premier Benazir Bhutto, said Tuesday that Pakistan wants to live in peace with India.

“I believe Pakistan should be able to live in peaceful coexistence with all its neighbours,” Bhutto Zardari said in answer to a question put by IANS at his first press conference outside Pakistan.

In his comments, Bhutto Zardari also strongly defended the Pakistan Peoples Party decision to make him party co-chair along with his father, saying it was not a dynastic move.

“My position was based on the collective will of the party – unanimously endorsed by 50 to 60 members of our Central Executive Committee and the Federal Council of the PPP representing the four provinces of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir,” he said.
