Riyadh : The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has strongly condemned the continuous Israeli aggression against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip within the ongoing military campaign that claimed the lives of a large number of unarmed civilians.
OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in a statement Tuesday denounced this attack which reaffirms Israel’s contempt for international law and its disregard of conventions signed with the Palestinian side and its insistence on continuing its war crimes and violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention that requires a rapid international action to stop these massacres and violations.
Ihsanoglu appealed to the UN Security Council and the United Nations secretary-general to move urgently to stop Israeli aggression and to take actions to ensure the protection of the Palestinian people from the Israeli oppression.
