Spears needs to be on suicide watch, says her aunt

London : Troubled pop superstar Britney Spears’ aunt Chanda McGovern thinks she is in such a dangerous frame of mind right now that she should be placed on a suicide watch.

McGovern was shocked to see Spears’ downfall. Spears recently had a three-hour standoff at her Beverly Hills home when she refused to give her two sons back to her estranged husband Kevin Federline, contactmusic.com reports.

Spears had to spend two nights in a hospital.

McGovern is now scared that if Spears is not under constant vigil she could take her own life. She said: “She needs to be on suicide watch.”
