Kuwait City : U.S. President George W. Bush arrived in Kuwait on Friday to start his two-day visit to the country.
Bush flew to the oil-rich country after wrapping up his first official visit to Israel and the Palestinian lands as the U.S. president.
He is on the first stop of his four-nation tour of oil-rich Gulf Arab allies to rally Arab support for his Middle East policy.
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah was in the airport to receive the U.S. president.
After Kuwait, the Gulf nations tour will also bring Bush to Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
