Kolkata : Several people were injured in an explosion Wednesday morning in the heart of this West Bengal capital.
The deafening blast at Shakespeare Sarani took place around 10 a.m. Though the cause of the explosion is yet to be confirmed, it is suspected that it could be a transformer blast, officials here said.
