Perth : Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid smashed half-centuries as India recovered to post 177 for two wickets by the tea interval on the opening day of the third Test against Australia here Wednesday.
Tendulkar was batting on 59 and Dravid was on 52. India did not lose any wicket in the second session. India had lost Virender Sehwag (29) and Wasim Jaffer (16) in the morning session after captain Anil Kumble won the toss and decided to bat.
India trail the four-Test series 0-2.
