Tbilisi : A military vehicle knocked over three teenagers in Tbilisi, Georgia, on Friday while rehearsing a parade to mark Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili’s inauguration, a local NGO source said.
The three teenagers, aged 13-14, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The exact details of the incident are currently unknown, and the Georgian Defense Ministry has yet to comment.
The inauguration of Georgia’s leader Mikheil Saakashvili, who received 53.47% of the vote in the January 5 presidential polls, is scheduled for January 20. Delegations from around 40 countries have been invited.
