In a press release issued on its website, the Turkish chairmanship of staff said Turkish planes shelled 15 training camps, 12 logistic support camps, 18 shelters, five command sites, two communication centers, and weapon and food storage areas.

The release said the Turkish Army will continue its military operations until it wipes out the Kurdish rebels that launch attacks against the Turkish forces.

On November 17, the Turkish parliament authorized the army to launch a large-scale military operation in northern Iraq to crush PKK rebels.
