Dravid made a total of 305 runs in India’s win in December that year.

Dravid had scored a superb 233 and Laxman a fine 148 in the first innings and the former remained unbeaten on 72 in the second innings as India scripted a four-wicket win over Australia.

Dravid’s double century is the third all-time highest knock at this venue, after Don Bradman’s 299 not out against South Africa in 1931-32 and Ricky Ponting’s 242 against India in 2003-04.
