The Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) claimed responsibility for launching two homemade rockets from northern Gaza Strip at the southern costal Israeli town of Ashkelon, causing no injuries or damages.

The group said in a leaflet that its militants fired two rockets from northern Gaza Strip at Ashkelon, adding “the attack is a natural response to the daily Israeli crimes committedagainst our people.”

Meanwhile, Saraya al-Quds, Islamic Jihad (Holy War) armed wing, also claimed responsibility for launching two homemade rockets from eastern Gaza at the southern Israeli town of Sderout.

Israeli Radio reported that four homemade rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed into Israel, adding that two rockets hit southern Ashkelon and two others hit the town of Sderout. Noinjuries or damages were reported.

The rockets attacks on Israel came shortly after Israel decided to allow fuels into the enclave to operate Gaza power station that stopped on Sunday due to fuel shortage, leaving most of Gaza under full darkness.
