Saina was in top form in the Asian circuit last month and notched up some big upset victories.

She became the first Indian women to reach the semifinal of a Super Series event at the Singapore Open. Saina then carried on her impressive form at the Thailand Open and reached the quarterfinal before being subdued by Chinese top-seed Xie Xingfang.

In men’s single’s rankings, Anup Sridhar is placed 31 while Chetan Anand and Arvind Bhat is 42nd and 43rd respectively.
