Islamabad : The ambassador noted that Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz had earlier announced an urgent assistance to Pakistan amounting to $133 million.
He also pointed out that the total Saudi assistance for the programs of reconstruction in Pakistan in the region hit by the earthquake is estimated at more than $570 million.
He noted that the Saudi popular campaign for the assistance of the victims in Pakistan embodies the keenness of the Saudi government on helping the victims of the earthquake.
On his part, Governor of the north western region in Pakistan Oweis Ahmad hailed the Kingdom’s stand and its support to Pakistan.
