Kozhikode : Former chief minister and veteran Congress leader K. Karunakaran’s car collided with a mini-truck Tuesday evening near Kottakkal in Malappuram district. The Congress leader was not hurt.
Karunakaran was on his way from Kozhikode to Guruvayur in Thrissur district. He proceeded to Guruvayur in another vehicle, the police said. The accident took place about 60 km from here.
He had suffered serious injuries in a car accident in 1992, when he was the chief minister.
