Remains of 12 people arrive in Beirut

Beirut : The remains of 12 people handed over by Israel were delivered to the Lebanese capital on Wednesday by the International Red Cross, constituting the first shipment of remains.

The 12 include seven Hezbollah fighters who were killed in the July 2006 war, as well as the remains of the Palestinian Dalal Al-Maghrebi.

Sources told media that the five Lebanese prisoners had been handed over to the Red Cross, and would also be taken to Lebanon.
