Islamabad : Eleven persons were killed and 17 others were injured in a road accident in eastern Pakistan’s Punjab province on Thursday morning, local media reported.
The road accident occurred when a bus rammed into a wagon near Motra on the GT Road, the Associate Press of Pakistan (APP) said.
Nine persons died on the spot, and two others died after being shifted to hospital.
The investigation is underway for the cause of the accident.
