Dwairat is from Soor Baher village in eastern Jerusalem, aged 31, and an unknown organization calling itself “Ahrar Aljaleel Brigades” claimed he was one of its militants.

According to the Israeli police spokesman, the handing over and burial ceremonies took place yesterday, attended by the victim’s family members.

The Israeli police prevented Dwairat’s family from organizing a funeral after he was killed, and rushed to stop the ceremonies at his house at Soor Baher village. The people were even banned from waving the Palestinian flag to mark a funeral procession.
