Kolkata : Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, hospitalised here with acute coronary syndrome July 6, was discharged Thursday. He later flew to Delhi.
“Dasmunsi has recovered well. His condition is now stable and satisfactory. Follow-up medical care for him has been arranged at premiere hospitals in Delhi,” according to a medical bulletin from private-run Apollo Gleneagles hospital.
Dasmunsi underwent primary angioplasty July 7 at the hospital.
The union minister, on a visit to Malda district in north West Bengal to attend a Congress party meeting July 6, complained of breathlessness and was initially hospitalised at Raiganj in north Dinajpur district.
Later, he was flown into the metropolis by an Indian Air Force plane and admitted to the hospital.
