New Delhi : Minister of State for Sports and Youth M.S. Gill Tuesday called the confidence motion a “reality show” and said India will win as many medals at the Beijing Olympics in August as the number of votes bagged by the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
When asked how many medals he expected India to win at the Olympics, Gill said: “As many as we win here (parliament). The government is going to win the trust vote.”
Terming the special session of parliament as the “finest reality show”, Gill said the vote of confidence and the resultant political activity within and without the parliament was a new experience for him.
