Kashmir: PPP gives ultimatum to Non-Kashmiris to leave Valley by Aug 10

Srinagar : Peoples Political Party (PPP) has asked all Non-state subject labourers and artisans belonging to various states of India to leave Kashmir peacefully by August 10.

Addressing media persons at historical park, Maisuma, Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Monday, the PPP Chairman Hilal War asked both skilled and unskilled labourers to leave Kashmir honourably and peacefully on or before August 10.

The leader informed, “Since my previous statement about onslaught on the cultural heritage, economic well-being and peaceful and healthy traditional social atmosphere by Non- state subject labourers and artisans belonging to various states of India, we have been insistently asked by various sections of Kashmiri society to launch a broad- based effective campaign for ensuring the exit of Non-State subject labourers and artisans.”

He disclosed that over 1.5 lakh Non-state subjects have already left Kashmir valley and asked remaining outside labourers and artisans to leave peacefully Kashmir Valley by August failing which they have to face dire consequences.

Citing several incidents in Valley, he informed that one Atta- Mohammad of Khayyam road near Hotel Apna Ghar was running small ice-cream factory. He employed a Bihari who used to sell his products in the market. In the year 1985, the said Bihari enticed away his daughter and took her to Bihar. Later on, the girl was brought back after 6 months.

In another instance, he disclosed that Sameena of Dalgate, who was known as Brook Shield of Kashmir, was abducted on gun point by a mason who was from Assam in 1991, adding that Tabainda Ghani, an 8th standard student, of Handwara was brutally rapped and then killed in the year 2007 by two Bihari labourers.

He warned, “In order to save our economy, our daughters, our future generation from becoming criminals, save our demography, save Kashmir from various diseases including AIDS , we are left with no option but to ask these labourers both skilled and unskilled, to leave Kashmir honourably and peacefully on or before August 10.”

“It is the time to take some serious measures to save our motherland (Kashmir) wherein there is no space for aliens in Kashmir. We want to give them honorable, peaceful and voluntary exit from our motherland. But at the same time we welcome technocrats, Doctors, Engineers, Businessmen, tourists and students from different Indian States.”
