Lalu Prasad says UPA has support of ‘unlimited’ MPs

New Delhi : Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Tuesday claimed the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) had the support of “unlimited” members of parliament.

Lalu Prasad, who arrived in parliament at around 10.30 a.m. for the trust vote that will decide the fate of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s government, told reporters: “The UPA enjoys the support of unlimited MPs.”

When asked if the UPA will get more than 280 votes, Lalu Prasad flashed the victory sign and said “victory”.
